Quack Quack

This is my little miss sunshine, Alex. She had this nickname long before the movie. Yesterday, she agreed to help a friend out by filling in for her as the duck at the Health Fair. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her. She certainly loved the attention she got. I now know that whatever her career choice will be she can always fall back on being some kind of mascot, (and a good one at that). Love you Al.

I'm doing a mosaic project for Scottdale, Arizona. My gears have switched back to mosaics for awhile. These projects are definately more time consuming but they usually turn out great in the end. It's like piecing a puzzle together with a little bit of an ouchy factor when you cut yourself. I'll be posting updates on the cross so check back!

Paws On The Red Carpet 2007

I am proud to be involved with the Columbus, Ohio Capital Area Humane Society's Paws event. The gala is being held on Friday, October 19, from 6:30pm - 11:00pm. As they say on their mission statement,"The Humane Society seeks to protect those who cannot speak for themselves." The work that they do is truly awe inspiring. I have donated a pet portrait for the auction. Tank is being shown as an example because I think he is a perfect representation of my work. I am looking foward to a wonderful evening and feel honored to be part of it.
