“If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you.”
~ t. alan armstrong
That's a great quote. I think we should all live our lives with passion and try to be happy as much as we can. I know my clock is ticking and what I want to do with those remaining ticks is live my life to the fullest, laugh, be happy and throw lots of passion in there. It's a recipe for a successful life.

i don't have a thing for shoes, either..except yours! it looks like she's been painting while wearing those beautiful high heels, and she got paint splattered on top.
i wish you and your beautiful family the very best Thanksgiving, Manon.
Nice post..I love the shoe..I was once a shoe person but now I realized I only need a few...give or take..
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Yes, yes! passion is good! I love the quote about shoes, too. I could substitute 'sketchbooks' and it would almost be true. Happy Thanksgiving Manon and of course thank you for the inspiration.
Beautiful post and very inspiring indeed. I love your work and also the way you use color. I love the contrast of the dark blue background against the softness of the soft skin tones you painted on the woman.
Happy Thanksgiving and lovely day to you! :)
Ok now your shoe painting is my favorite LOL. Your girl is just gorgeous as always. Its funny you said that about your clock ticking,I always say I have more time behind me then ahead of me and I want to make the best of it. Its soo true! Have a nice thanksgiving.
OOooooo why is your "gurl" crying again??? Just to upset Mama? She is lovely even with tears. Passionate tears. Love the shoe painting. Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with gratefulness for new life and endless possibilities. Love, Deb
Ah, what an exceptional beauty! And I love her draping collar. So elegant and retro. I prefer to think that those are tears of happiness. Passionate tears of happiness. Perhaps because she just snagged a rockin' pair of shoes at a Black Friday sale!
Happy, happy, happy Thanksgiving to you, Manon. May your dish be piled high with stuffing and gravy. I am thankful for you and your passion.
...and I am thankful for you!!
Love and hugs.
Yes, yes--I agree, and everyone has a passion--they may have to search for it--but they have it inside of them!
Awe....I like em too, Cat!!
That would be true of all my clothes, Miz Katie!!
Happy Thanksgiving, Katelen!!
Jane...I have a ton of those also!! Yikes!!
i agree, Buffy! We have to make the best of it!!
They are passionate tears, Deb!! Mu
m likes them tearless....don't think she gets me...lol
Hey, Bella!! You get me...lol. Snagging great shoes on Black Friday would be awesome!!
I am also thankful for you, Marie.
Right on, Diane! xo
Thanks for your lovely comment, Ansota! You have a great name!!
she looks so lonely and forlorn somehow..and yet there's sth in her eyes..a longing...a seeing of sth that is not yet there
a very expressive painting manon
i always stand in awe of what you do with a brush and some color..

Beautiful, emotional blues in your "Passion" painting, Manon... my favorite :)

I don't even know where to begin..

Great shoes. I've got shoes on my blog too today, though mine don't look quite so stylish.
I adore the look on your girl - the colour running down her face - I feel drawn into her story. Wonderful piece.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful painting about passion too!
Gosh Girl I guess it is the passion that keeps you going in this challenge..I really admire your strenght! Walking in each other shoes helps us learning to emphatise.. yikkeeees don't want to walk in your shoes ,lol, well done so far!

I can feel the passion in this girl.
Is this girl you?
Sometimes it feels like passion goes to sleep, or hides.
My passion was lost for awhile. Does that ever happen to you?
I found a little today with my new story. I want to keep my passion alive- like you do.
I know I am just a pug,,,, but my heart cried when I could not find the passion.
You help me find it sometimes.
I want to be like you.
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving

Ugh! I missed this one but I know we exchanged Happy Thanksgiving comments.
Imelda is an evil woman.
A whore who, along with her evil husband,
Pimped the people they proclaimed to love.
May she have bunions and callouses in hell
And be forced to wear 6-inch heels.
Okay back to being not angry
At the schmegeggy.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday.
Tsup!
Okay I totally got distracted by that evil woman.
I love this series of pixie-haired women.
OOOOOHHH I love shoes and I love this painting! :D
