I'm posting this page not because I'm finished or happy with her but because I wanted to say that I really don't like light molding paste. I usually use the regular molding paste but yesterday I noticed I had a small jar of the light stuff and I thought I'd throw it on. I'm not sure why but I'm definitely not feeling it....lol.

This is what she looked like with her underpainting!! LOL! Looks like she'd be a candidate for the Blue Man Group!! : ))

She looks like a beautiful blueprint in the second one!
You're funny! I think she's lovely, blue or no. What's the difference in feel of the light m. paste? Does it feel less permanent? dissolve?
love the eyes in this.
Yes she does, G!! lol
It feels grainy and too absorbent, Liz!! I like the regular or hard molding paste much better. : ))
beautiful :)
I think she's awesome, but I appreciate the info about light m. paste. It's good to know.
You go from silly to stunning in a couple of brush strokes...
She looks great. I use medium and heavy gels with acrylic, but I’ve yet to try the paste.
i don't know about the paste stuff.
I just think you did a beautiful job.
love

I think she's gorgeous. And I'm another who didn't know about the different pastes, so thanks for sharing the info.
Well, I think she is beautiful Manon!
Light Molding Paste is good if you want to make something look like stucco. I accidentally picked up mine and was quite surprised with the difference....
Still LOVE the painting!
XXOO~~♥

Well I think she's awesome and I was admiring the rough surface before I even read the post..... but if you aren't feeling it, you aren't feeling it .... throw the paste out ...Lol.
OOOOOH BLUUUE...love it, YOUUU!
good to know about any of our goop! xo
Sometimes those voices from your soul come from your Fairy Godmother - listen wisely my dear...
She looks great Manon, but if your not feeling it... i think the artist has to feel it, regardless of how others feel
but i like it

I love the over the shoulder look! And the color of her eyes. Very beautiful. And you know what? The paste gives her that ancient Byzantine art kind of feel. Very cool!
Suddenly, I feel like I need a mud mask.
i really love her eyes...have not used the paste but thank you for letting me know...i think i too have a little bit around in my cupboard..if i am using acrylics, i stick with the gels, like them much better...but still, either blue girl or painted, she is beautiful to me!xx
Thanks, Karen and Jane!!
It's usually silly, Sheila!!
I don't really like the light molding paste, Anthony.
Thank you, Tweedles, Kirsten and Sherry!! xoxo
You are right, Anne!! : ))
Good advise, Robyn!!
I seem to be using a log of blue lately, Wanda!!
I do listen wisely, Fairy Godmother!!
Thanks, Autumn Boy!!
You make me laugh, Bella!! Remember those blue masks? LOL
Try it out, Linda!! See if you like it!!
She is beautiful Manon!
Too pretty for blue man group!
Love and hugs.
Are you not liking the lines the paste leaves? I use light molding paste, but I wet sand it after it's dry. Helps a little to tone down the creases.
She's beautiful, and the texture is fabulous.
It is beautiful Manon. But may I ask, why are you using molting gel or whatever stuff, you don't need that. They are just a distraction. Your lines and colors explode! I know, I know. You love finger painting... Seriously, I cannot find anything wrong with what you do because the basics are just beautiful.
Beautiful. I have never used the paste at all, but someday I will get out of my box and try it. I always love the feel and texture you achieve :)
Very cool!
