I hope my family gets by now after all these tears I've painted that they are not all sad....lol!!! I've explained it a ton of times to them but my mother still gives me that *I'm not really sure about you* look...lol. In her defense she knows that I easily shed tears. I always have. She always tells me I'm the only one she ever met that can crack jokes while crying....lol. I guess the ability to feel and express emotion is a good thing. : ))

As always, you literally paint emotion! What a true passion you have! Keep on expressing it, no matter what your family tells you, or how the 'look'at you! lol

omg.....your poor mother should meet me....tears and laughter/sadness are so closely associated, sometimes I'm not too sure which they are from!(I'm not sure of much these days anyway...LOL!)
And maybe that is why I love your work! :-)

This is beautiful! I'm on a teary side as well. :) Runs in the family. :))
Hi Manon, When I was very young I couldn't understand that, my mom and grandma very sentimental. Then I had some life changing events as I grew up and I am easily brought to tears, happy and sad. My kids probably think I am a mush pot. lol I can so relate. xo Theresa
I think that's wonderful to be so expressive, sensitive and full of life. Sounds like you must also be a very compassionate person. I could feel the tears in this piece.
Hi Manon!!! this is gorgeous....I love the detail in her eyes!!! you are amazing my friend....and I have these tears all the time!!!!
Manon she is amazing!! Love everything about her especially her eyes! Tears and all! These days I cry at the drop of a hat! lol But I say better to let the tears out then keep that emotion in!

She is so expressive, the eyes says it all! My whole house is contrasted with maroon and rusty red hues, so I found this painting extra attractive!

She's absolutely stunning, Manon! You never fail to show your true passion through your paintings. Love, love, LOVE!! oxx
Terrific red! I love the rich background. And her hair has awesome texture. Beautiful painting! I guess when you no longer feel emotion or cry, it's time to worry.
Have an excellent holiday weekend!
Ah yes, those beautiful happy tears, aren't we familiar with them? I do hope you are not crying your eyes out though, you won't be able to see and trip. Hahaha! Manon, I am thinking of you. I am painting and I am having the most difficult time. This is my second night and I am still on the face! Come help me!!! Hope you are well. Tsup!
There is so much emotion that can be seen in your painting.
So much emotion in just your words,, the quote make tears fall - for me. so much feeling

Hi Manon
This painting makes me think of unearthed emotions, when feelings start to surface, and you aren't sure if the tears are from sadness or relief.
Love the rich earthy colors! And that happens to be one of my favorite quotes! We have quite a few "leaky faucets" in my family - it's all about uninhibited emotion, be it joyful or sorrowful. We've been known to stream tears during a good laughing session, or all start snuffling simultaneously at a movie or concert. I worry more about the ones who cry too little, not too much!
Hi there! I had to change my blog and lost all my followers. I would love to have you back

Hello Mixed Media Artist Manon :)
Ahh she is so beautiful - we always paint a little of ourselves into our paintings, did you know that? I wonder which part of you is in this one.
Tears are funny, how they can be tears of joy. And English is funny, because we can have one in our stockings .... in fact I have one now :)
