I'm in Canada right now visiting with friends and family. My mom is overwhelmed with the amount of art supplies I brought with me.....yikes!!! I told her I needed to keep being somewhat creative.

In the Summer the market area is bustling with activity. I adore all the fresh produce that the farmers sell. There are many outdoor cafes to sit and watch all the happenings. It's so much fun to be out and about down here.....please say that line with a Canadian accent!!! : ))

I like the depth expressed in the painting, and the line, maintaining a bit of the sketch, adds so much, adds life and movement.

These are wonderful photos of Canada. It looks like a great, fun place to be. I love sitting out at cafes having a brew and people watching!!!

hi manon, i saw your painting today and swooned....i love this one best, hands down, something about the way you did her from the neck down with the scribbles almost and from the neck up, she IS GORGEOUS...wow, whatever, wherever you've been, it's done a number on your painting!

There are so many us right now, in the same transition mode. It's okay,... we're allowed to tap into our inner Gypsy Lover Self, for awhile or more. The open road is the new creative space.
