Most of my journals consist of paintings and lots of gesso. I had to ditch my favorite Moleskins a long time ago because they just became to full of paint and stuff. Last week I took one out that I hadn't used and decided to use colored pencils.

This colored pencil thing is just a tad frustrating to me. I'm used to slopping on paint and throwing on more if I make a mistake. These pencils are not as forgiving and they take more time but I like the end result. :)

Hey, wait, what jewelry contest? I missed it. Ugh. What brand pencils are these? the ones are use the creamy, darn it, I forgot the brand but I also use Prisma which is very frustrating. I use a lot of totillon and smudges when I draw with colored pencils which I have not done in over a year. Are you feeling better? I owe you an email. Tsup!
Ces, I'm using Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor. I've had them for years and busted them out last week when I was a little under the weather. They blend pretty nicely but *hey* what do I know about blending? lol. I am better...thanks for asking!! xoxo
